Description

Andrew Bourne takes a picture of an Iraqi election team his unit provided security for during a 2006 election. The ballots are sealed in stacks of blue coolers. Andrew notes how the man in the grey coat used to be one of Saddam Hussein’s republican guards during the Gulf Wars. He observes that they were on the opposite side of the bullets back then but now share a common purpose.
